The students will create their own Weather Reports in groups to show their understanding and what they have learned about weather throughout the Science Unit

Students will create a hand sized puppet to represent a British Loyalist who immigrated to Canada.

This is a rubric based off of students performance on writing a first person narrative from a perspective of a Loyalist. The paragraph should be related to what we learned in class.

Students will write what their life will be like in a time in a future time.

After studying the work of Alberto Giacometti, students will create a work of three-dimensional figure art inspired by Giacometti’s unique, surrealistic style of the "Walking Man". Students will recognize the differences between two- dimensional and three-dimensional art, realistic vs. abstract art, as well as develop their own interpretations of showing the human figure through sculpture.

Students will create a Newspaper that features the people and life of New France.

Drawing an animal and adding tissue paper to create texture and color.

Students create a collage with an underwater feeling using specialty papers. They then make a fish print on textured tissue paper and glue it over their collage.
