Students designed a power point slide/google slide show using formatting, slide design, font changes, and information about themselves as a part of a class show. They are graded on their use of spacing between words, capitals where needed, periods and commas used correctly when typing (spacing after, not before.) They are also graded on their slide design and animation schemes. They will present their show to the class.

5 minute presentation

Students will create an original short story, be creative the story can be about anything (keep it appropriate). The story must have 3 main characters, a definite beginning, middle, and end, and your story must have a moral lesson. ** At the end of your story make sure you state your main characters and the morals of your story.

When writing your one paragraph short answer this is what your answer will be graded on. Short answer paragraphs should answer the question and be readable.

Reflective teaching is critical to being an effective teacher. We will begin by writing a reflective response to a teaching video. Please remember to use different levels of reflection within your writing.

Write a 1 page summary including WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, and Why. The summary should include at least one paragraph. Your summary should be neatly written. You should have an introductory sentence that states the topic of the summary. You should use transition words to help with the flow of the paragraph. Make sure your name and class period is on your summary. Proofread and edit your summary.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Students will select a recipe, have knowledge of how to read and follow the instructions of a recipe, cooking vocabulary, use the correct tools for measuring ingredients, work independently and complete a finished dish

while at the grocery store shopping for item for our class meal, students will apply the concepts they learned in class to determine which item in a given category is the better deal. They need to be able to justify why.
