Students will read a speech given by a famous American. Students will cut the speech to three minutes without losing the gist of the speech.The presentation will begin with background information and timing will commence when the actual speech begins.

The students must choose a speech from the 20th Century American History. The speech must be at least 30 lines long. The student must select five passages from the speech between one or two lines long and explain the meaning and importance of that line. The lines will be talked about in a short presentation the student must give. And also in the paper they need to write about the speech.
