In light of the standards for EL Educator Standards found in your Handbook, first analyze your skills, strengths and weaknesses, both as a classroom teacher and as an ENL teacher. Next, based on this analysis, develop your own professional development plan for increasing your knowledge, skills and dispositions based on the outline described in Sakai and on syllabus.

Reflect on the professional development you have participated in over the years. What was valuable and why? What was not valuable and why not? If you were the director of professional development for your school or diocese, what are three cardinal rules you would follow? (Please refer to rubric).
