You are going to create your own government! You will write/create your own government purpose statement (i.e. the Preamble). You will then create a list of 10 rights for your people (i.e. the Bill of Rights). You will then write a persuasive speech to your citizens about why they should support your new government. You will the compare your government to The Lord of the Flies movie.

Find a current (no more than 2 weeks old) political article on the internet from a reliable source. Then find 2 supporting articles. The articles should be at least 2 pages in length and should be downloaded and printed out. Write a two page paper over the article. Included in the 2 pages should be a summary of the main article (not to exceed one page), your personal reaction to the article (one paragraph), and how this article affects American politics as a whole and your life personally.
