Each student will receive the name of a civilization that has contributed to the development of the science of Astronomy. He/She will research that civilization and present their information in one of six given formats. The student will have two days in class to begin research.

Students will complete this evaluation about their partner (s) to show the instructor how well each member participated in the overall completion of project.

The students will work with a group and put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic. (4th Period)

With their fellow planeteers, students will present their information gathered about their planets during task 1, 2 and 3. Presentation can be in any medium (powerpoint, prezi, vidoe, pop-up book ect.). Presentations should be 2-5 minutes long.

Develop a lesson to enhance the most important information about your Science lesson topic through an interactive, engaging review. You must include vocabulary. You must also execute (teach) your lesson plan to your class on your assigned date. If a group member is absent on the day of your lesson, you are still required to teach the lesson; all members must know your content and lesson fully in case you have to teach on your own.
