Students are expected to work cooperatively and collaborate effectively to create the finished product using reliable, relevant and up to date resources as well as create a work plan together which outlines the work each will be responsible for.

This rubric was used for assessing a community based research essay. The students had submitted a pproposal for the essay. Each proposal contained: a description of the community controversy that was proposed for research; community based research plan that went beyond print or electronic sources.
