Students will research two specific animals for classification. (1) One animal will be a vertebrate. (2) The other animal will be an invertebrate Students will list their animals' characteristics along with a at least one picture of each animal. Half should pertain to one animal & the other half should pertain to the other animal and can be diagonal, horizontal, or vertical. Please see the attached form for a detailed list of the requirements.

Research the approved topic and question. Submit double spaced, 12 point font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 3 resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.

Submit one 1-2 page typed paper (5 paragraphs) on the provided topic, double spaced, 12 point font, following MLA format. Include a works cited page, citing at least 2 resources in-text used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, bibliography, and punctuality. The paper will address what pickling is, the history of pickling, and how pickling is used today.
