In specific groups, students will create a 30 second-1 min commercial using the Movie Maker Program. You must import a video for your commercial. Your commercial must be a story line production in which you are trying to convince someone to buy a specific product or go to a specific destination. You must complete the commercial worksheet (provided), and have at least 4 story board frames (see attached worksheets). You must have video, music and audio. A written script must accompany your presentation. Use the commercial worksheet to show how your commercial targets the appropriate customers, and to show how you will sell your project. The students will put together an electronic presentation to show during their understaning of the 4ps of marketing. The presentation will contain information that the students collected regarding 4P of Marketing. The oral presentation must be aligned with their electronic presentation.

Students will provide concise answers to content-based questions about the lesson. They will follow the format provided and use examples for support.

Idea development and content is the foundation that gives strength to good writing throughout the writing piece. Everything that is said comes back to ideas and content. The two keys are clarity and details. Making a topic clear and manageable is so important. Details can make or break any piece of writing. Ideas and content focus on clear writing that presents details in an interesting, fresh manner.

The student will be able to identify potential career fields and complete personality, skills, & interest assessments while creating short- & long-term goals in which they will analyze the opportunity cost and options available to them.

Directions: Create and present a PowerPoint presentation based upon the Career Research. The purpose of this presentation is to inform the class about the chosen occupations for your four-year and beyond plan. Slide topics required:  Title slide (occupation, name, and date)  Salary information (annual--include lifestyle information from reality check project)  Educational requirements (include 3 options for education)  Entry level positions – opportunities for advancement  Nature of work  Working conditions  Occupational outlook (must be quantifiable)  Advantages/disadvantages to the career  Personal skills and reasons why this career would be a possibility  Things which can be done to prepare for this job this year to move towards this occupation -Classes that can be taken in High School to prepare for this career -Opportunities to explore this career locally -Sequenced plan to begin on this career path
