Introductin to Accounting
Concept or objective of lesson. Expose the students to “the language of business”—accounting. Accounting has a history that dates back 500 years and many of the same concepts are still used today. Exploring the origins of vocabulary used in accounting and details about important government and financial organizations will help the students form a base of common knowledge of the field of accounting before specific accounting concepts are learned.
