You will be taking an oral assessment in Spanish based Unit 3 vocabulary School life.

You are a travel agent for a Spanish country. You are to create a travel brochure to attract travelers to that country. You will research the internet and use your imagination. This brochure should be colorful, creative and written to entice travelers to visit your country. Refer to the handout for the specifics to include in your brochure.

You have been learning about Dia De Los Muertos in Spanish class. You were asked to make an 'ofrenda' representing a person you would like to honor after they have passed. It may be a relative, friend, or famous person who have passed away. Students will create a skeleton after learning about the Day of the Dead celebration.

Students will color and decorate a Catrina after learning about the Day of the Dead celebration.

Create a one month calendar page of your birthday month on poster board. Mark/design the posterboard as a calendar and label it in Spanish with the name of the month, the days of the week and the Spanish words of numbers to mark the days. Finally, Label/ mark the calendar with days that indicate what day is today/hoy, tomorrow/ manana and "my birthday/mi cumplianos". Lastly, write a sentence each telling me the date of today, tomorrow and the day marked "my birthday".
