Students will respond to literature.

Students will write a persuasive paragraph in which they state their position on the question provided by the prompt and persuade readers to see things their way. They will include three reasons to support their position, and support them well with details or examples. They also will include a concluding sentence.

Students have to write a 5 paragraphs essay on a president of the United States. They will have to include the president of the United States background including when and where they were born, what # the president was, and the years served as president. They will do research on 3 major accomplishments/contributions that president made while in office, religious background and then you will present the essay to the class. This is an introduction to leanring about a president and what that president accomplished while in office. ESSAYS ARE DUE ON Friday February 18, 2011. Presentations will be held on Friday February 18.
