This speech focuses on presentation basics such as posture, volume, clarity, content and preparedness.

This rubric is designed to assess the presentation of the group activity. The rubric should consider the performance of the group as a whole, as well as individual contributions.

At the end of the unit, the student will pick an item from any of the lessons to do a presentation on. The presentation will be no less than two minutes, and will be graded according to the rubric.

Using publisher students will research a state on the internet and fill in the information in their own words using the info on the template. This project was modeled and guided by the teacher and took place over a 5 day period. They were given studyhall opportunities as well. The focus of this project is on basic research skills as well as typing using capitals for names and proper nouns and correct punctuation and spacing. Spelling is not a main priority, but is considered as well. The total is 40 points possible
