The objective of this assignment is to generate critical thinking about trends and issues in current academic/scientific research. You are required to find one article (journal, magazine, internet, etc) that discusses/addresses current research in an area to which you may be interested in contributing your own research Read the article. Provide a brief overview of the article's main points/issues/trends, and post a link in our shared Google Doc.

Students are expected to complete the assigned reading and come to class fully prepared to discuss and critically analyze the reading material. Each class member is responsible for finding answers to questions that arise to enhance his/her own learning and the learning of their classmates.

Generic rubric for the design and preparation of a science infographic. The minimum score for successful accomplishment is 80.

Experiments are scored using this rubric though not all experiments require all categories. Students are informed which specific categories are required for a specific experiment. The rubric is available in the Moodle assignment as well.
