Based on the pictures, students will create a clear story with a beginning, middle and end.

Students will be able to use transition words in a paragraph to retell a story in sequential order.

Research the approved topic and question. Submit double spaced, 14 point TNR font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing resources used researching the paper. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.

Design a mobile to tell your class about the book you read. Your mobile must a theme based off of your book report book. Suggestions: Creat a mobile on the characters, main events, vocabulary, connections, etc. Reports completed on a book not approved by the teacher will not be accepted and will recieve a zero. Finished product must be the students work and reflect the students ability level.

Biography of historical figure .Biography should include important details of figures life and the contributions he/she made during the . An essay will be written on this person including Personal information, qualities, and contributions. This biography needs at least 5 paragrahs completed on StoryJumper .

Students will create a short story that demonstrates their understanding of the stages of plot, characteristics of a short story, and author's craft.

Write a story with a strong moral that uses appeal to fear in order to gain something from the reader.

For writing a narrative story that contains all the components of narrative writing.

The student will write an essay about their hero. The essay will identify the hero and tell why that person is their hero. The essay will state what the student's life would be like without this person.

The student will create a Diorama which includes a favorite scene in the book and an oral report describing the scene they chose (setting, important characters, how/why the scene was important to the plot), tell about the elements in their diorama and how they are related to the scene.

Students will create a foldable book report iin the form of a book jacket. This report will describe the plot without giving away the ending and a critique of the book along with a short biographical sketch of the author. The spine of the book will duplicate those of books in media centers including call letters and AR book level. The front cover will be illustrated with book title and author.

After you have read your book, pretend it has been made into a movie. Create a poster advertising your movie. Be sure to include the setting and main characters.
