Audio/video production students in grades 9-12 will form teams of 2-4, and create a 10-minute short film with a clear influence from a selected film director.

Audio/Video Production students will write a short (2-3 page) essay detailing the effectiveness of a series of pro wrestling entrance videos.

Students will write a short (1-page) promo speech delivered by a fictional pro wrestler character whom they will create.

Students in grades 9-12 will write an essay comparing and contrasting two chosen works by the same film director, analyzing specific aspects of both films. Choose two films made by your favorite director that you have already seen (EX. “Pan’s Labyrinth” and “Hellboy II” by Guillermo Del Toro). Write an article for a fictitious movie magazine that compares and contrasts the two works.

Audio/video production students in grades 9-12 will write a professional quality film review based on a provided example and outline on the school-appropriate film of their choosing.
