Formal Art Critique
Art & Design students should be able to successfully critique their own artwork and that of others using terminology that is understandable and relevant to students in the field of art, photography, and design. Choose a creative work (your own or another's). Write a critique using the 4 elements discussed in class. These elements don't necessarily need to be in separate headings, but must be present. Length: at least 300 words.

Writing Prompts Rubric
Students will use this rubric for their daily in class writing prompts. Writing prompts will be graded each month with 15 prompts per a month. Students can make up prompts for days they are absent, but it will be their responsibility to learn of prompts they have missed and they will be expected to write those prompts on their own time. A total of 25 points given for this assignment. 15 points for completion, which is 1 pt per prompt finished. 10 points for overall writing standard.

Art Completion Classwork
Students will know classwork expectations which would include completeness, accuracy, requirements, legibility and time management. This rubric will also provide a means of grading homework assignments. The better the quality of your homework, hopefully, the better your grade.
