Students will measure themselves using hand prints (flower), footprints (leaves), and their height (stem).

Your flip book should have at least 5 sections. Each section should have pictures and sentences to describe each character.

Pizza Fractions! Students will partition 2 circles and a rectangle into 1/2, 1/3 or 1/4. Then assemble the toppings and correctly label each part. As they share with the group, students should use appropriate math vocabulary. MCC2.G.3 Partition circles and rectangles into two, three, or four equal shares, describe the shares using the words halves, thirds, etc., and describe the whole as two halves, etc. Recognize that equal shares of identical wholes need not have the same shape.

Students should conduct a survey with 4 categories, make a tally chart to complete the bar graph.
