A rubric for choice-based projects where students are tasked to determine the details and parameters of a project based on a general direction made by the teacher. This rubric may be applied to individual or group proposals, research project proposals, or projects that require planning or project development.

This rubric is designed to evaluate students during field exploration and experience activities where data, observations, insights, and inputs are meant to be gathered. While being a very valuable learning opportunity, it is also one of the most challenging to manage for a teacher.

Rubric for evaluating participation in a class discussion. All students are expected to participate; some students may be uncomfortable due to shyness and/or a learning style that makes immediate or public responses difficult for them. Alternative ways to earn participation credits may still be determined by a student showing their engagement with the topic or class material. Recitation, small-group dynamics, and guided/ directed inquiries may also be used for class discussions.

Rubric used when students are working in collaborative groups. The rubric outlines the expectations for the collaborative group work and may be used in conjunction with other project rubrics to evaluate group dynamics.
