This rubric is designed to assess the presentation of the group activity. The rubric should consider the performance of the group as a whole, as well as individual contributions. Some activities will be scored for points and others as Pass/No Pass (earning at least 50% of the points indicates passing).

Each student group will research a disease, illness, or condition of the instructor's choosing and relay what was learned to the class. Information on the disease should include the physiology and etiology of the condition, as well as discussion of diagnostics, nursing assessments (subjective & objective), medical management, nursing diagnosis and planning and nursing interventions & special consideration. Rationales for nursing interventions should be explained and discussed. Presentations can be in any format that the student group desires.
