The student will create a short clip using Stop Motion techniques. Stop motion (also known as stop frame) is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. Frames are moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence. The moon phases will be shown during this animation.

The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Student is to create an iMovie presentation based on assigned topic. Student will be asked to conduct a 8-10 minute presentation. iMovie presentation is to include accurate information and pictures. Information must be in depth; student will give appropriate credit to where information was gathered - NO PLAGIARISM. Credits will be shown at the end of the iMovie presentation. Must be STUDENT ORIGINAL.
