Below is a chart that shows you exactly how your class participation grade will be evaluated. All students are expected to participate in class! Students should understand that their participation mark begins at 0 and then is built up through active participation. While this is a self-assessment, I may raise or lower points based upon classroom observation.

This rubric is used to evaluate Projects or Flyers. The topic is to promote a trip to a Spanish-speaking Country. Could be any region on the Spanish-speaking country studied

Students will build a car from the material supplied. The student may add only found objects when creating the finished car. You car should be able to compete in a race against cars made by other students in the class. No store bought materials may be used. The car will travel down a ramp and measured for speed and distance. Keep in mind: weight speed, friction, speed, velocity, and momentum.

High quality cleaning is expected from each member of the cleaning team. Students are expected to perform the steps of their assigned cleaning task by developing & improving their skill level.

Create a family tree (your family or another “known” family)on poster board. You will need to include the relationships in Spanish.

Students are to create a map of a town with a minimum of 10 buildings and 6 streets labeled in Spanish. They will also write 3 sets of directions using "Ud." commands to arrive at 3 different destinations. They will use hot wheel cars to drive through the city.
