This rubric will be used to grade ELD students on a pass/fail basis (students at proficiency levels of Beginning, Early Intermediate, and Intermediate). The sub-categories are to be used as a guideline to determine if the student is working at his/her capacity. Students at and Early Advanced or Advanced level should be graded according to classroom standards.
