Diagram/concept map showing the relationship between relative humidity & dew point

Students will create 3 climate graphs (climatograms) for different locations within different biomes. They may choose from tropical, desert, temperate marine, temperate continental, tundra, or highland biomes.

Students will create station models from weather conditions for 5 different locations of their choice.

Students will create a weather forecast of a location of their choice. The forecast will be created using 2 days of weather data. The forecast will be for the 3rd days. The forecast should include temperature, winds speed & direction, barometric pressure, cloud cover, and chance of precipitation.

Students will be graded on their abilities of creating a Venn Diagram that compares and contrasts weather & climate. The criteria that the students will be graded are; proper construction of the Venn Diagram, correct grammar and spelling, the number of compare and contrast details provided, and the accuracy of scientific facts. Within the diagram, in addition to scientific information, students need to include examples & illustrations.

Students must create TWO models of weather fronts, choosing from the following front types:cold, warm, stationary, occluded. Each model must be a different type: drawn, 3D, or mathematical Students must label all parts of the weather front and provide a written description of the processes of front formation.
