You are to design an anti-smoking poster. The poster must be a creative anti-smoking ad to attract people's attention. The poster must contain the following... -accurately communicate at least three health risks associated with smoking -a catchy slogan, phrase or short poem -hand drawn pictures may be used -the use of proper spelling and grammar. Make sure that your assignment is neat and clearly expresses why a person should not use tobacco.

Groups will create a presentation that shows factors of the biome that distinguish it from the other biomes. They should show plants, animals, climate, biome location and precipitation that affect the biome.

Student must design a healthy menu that includes healthy options and reflect a balanced menu. Menu must include: an appetizer, an entree, a beverage, a dessert (optional). Think fresh, think Healthy!

Create a 3-day healthy meal and snack plan for eating out at a fast food restaurant. Plan each breakfast, lunch, dinner, and all snacks and beverages so that your food intake for the day meets daily recommended number of servings for each food group. Each day of your meal plan must include: a) Three meals, two snacks, & drinks (one meal per day is from restaurant given) b) Serving sizes for each item to eat or drink c) Daily total number of servings for each food group.

Independent Activity: Self Collage Create a collage that represents who you are as a person. The collage should be made on the Tagul website. This collage should consist of images that tell who you are and what is important to you. The collage should contain words that describe who you are. Grades will be given according to the attached rubric.

Students are selecting an animal, researching and writing about their animal. The fact and opinion article should tell about where their animal lives, what their animal eats, what their animal looks like, the animal's size and any interesting fun facts about their animal. The report should also include at least one opinion.
