Write a persuasive letter to a friend or family member to convince them to go on a trip with you. Remember to correctly use and punctuate all the parts of the letter.

Reflections allow students the opportunity to think about their experiences and "get the learning out" of these experiences. Reflections are an important part of the feedback loop between the student and their teacher. Therefore, sharing the learning with the teacher in a timely manner, allows the teacher to offer formative guidance through timely responses to the reflection, which increases student learning.

Student will start in a "Home Group" and choose a topic. Students will then be divided into "Expert Groups" to discuss chosen topic. Groups will develop study materials and test questions and become an expert on the topic. When Expert status has been reached, students will return to the Home Group and teach the Home Group students what they have learned. When teaching is completed, groups will complete a graphic organizer comparing and contrasting the topics.

Habitat Personal Narrative

Based on the elements from the Retelling Glove.

You will be given a description of a made up animal with specific adaptations. You will have to then determine the ideal habitat for it based on it’s features. write a 5-7 sentence paragraph that explains what kind of animal it is, what it’s adaptations are, where it lives, and how it’s features helps it to survive in it’s environment.
