A rubric that depicts the various stages and completion of cavern design and construction. Humans must take refuge underground before an asteroid strike.

Students will be able to compare and contrast the formation of rock types and demonstrate the similarities and differences using the rock cycle model. Be as creative and choose from the following: -Create a video of an experiment demonstrating the rock cycle. -Make a detailed poster or picture collage explaining the rock cycle. -Tell the story of a rock going through the cycle through a comic strip or children's book. -Write a song, poem, or rap that fully explains the rock cycle.

Build a 3D Model: Build a 3D model of a satellite that will orbit Earth.

Students will demonstrate their knowledge of constellations by creating/painting 20 constellations, labeling their constellation, explaining the myth about their constellation and presenting their constellation to the class.
