Students will create a grammar review presentation to share with their classmates. The students will put together a power point, poster or video. The presentation will contain information that the students have collected regarding the specific German grammar point. Students will also create one practice activity on the grammar topic, review game, and a quiz.

Rubric to use to evaluate personal reflection journals and reading/writing journals

A rubric for a German-speaking Presentation

Students will submit a final essay in which they describe the specific characteristics of a major period in German history and evaluate a chosen work of art, philosophical notion, or historical event as they relate to those characteristics.

Students will create a cultural presentation about an author/landmark/event/artist connected to the city or Bundesstaat of their Bundesliga Team. The student will put together a Powerpoint or poster for the oral presentation. The Powerpoint/poster will contain information that the student has collected regarding the author/landmark/event/artist. The student will also create a quiz for their classmates to take following their presentation. The presentation will given in German.

1. Make an ad with 2-4 group members that lasts 45 sec to 3 min. 2. Use at least 30 words of vocabulary from what you have learned. 3. Turn in a hard copy of the script with the key words highlighted. 4. The project needs to be in German, school appropriate, meaningful and engaging. 5. Use tenses and word structures we know - Simplify words and sentences. 6. If your group is unsure ask - no Google Translate! 7. Assign roles and develop the script in German.
