Students are responsible for replicating the sound lab based on their CIBL Kits. They should present information on sound as well as add in their own design to the experiment for flair and fun!

Students will choose 1 of the 3 options. This choice board will be used as an assessment to measure understanding of topic.

The students will put together a brochure and prepare a PowerPoint presentation. The brochure will contain information regarding the three types of rocks and the rock cycle, soil and horizons. The students presentation must be aligned with the brochure.

Experiments are scored using this rubric though not all experiments require all categories. Students are informed which specific categories are required for a specific experiment.

The students will write a rap based on a topic of their choosing. Their rap will include the common elements of rap songs as determined in class. They must also perform their rap for the class.

This rubric will be used to assign points for your discussion board participation. Each discussion board post is worth 10 points with a 100% basis. You will receive one point for posting an assignment by the due date. One point will be DEDUCTED IF YOU FAIL TO POST THREADS AND/OR REPLIES ON TIME. Please note the consequence is the same regardless of which offense has occurred. Additional points will be based on your contribution to the discussion.
