This rubric will be used to score your literary response posts on Edmodo. You must write 150-200 words in your response and answer all questions. Your response must include at least two pieces of textual evidence cited in MLA format. You must also respond to two other students using the same guidelines. All posts must end in a question to elicit responses from others. Your question must relate to the original assignment and your post. Each of your three responses will be graded individually.

Analyze and solve pairs of simultaneous linear equations. Choose a row horizontal, vertical, or diagonal from the tic tac toe board provided. You must use each method for solving systems of equations (graphing, substitution, and elimination). One method per question.

Systems of Equations - create systems of equations

Students were asked to research the quilts of the underground railroad and then create a model of it using graph paper and their knowledge of geometric transformations.

Student is to "write" a diary of a fictional person who could have traveled the Underground Railroad.This journal or diary needs to reflect accurately the experiences a person from the selected time period could/would have experienced. Use knowledge gained from the materials presented in class to create the diary entries as you think that person would have experienced. You have literary license to make up appropriate and historically accurate experiences. Must be STUDENT ORIGINAL.
