Capstone Simulation

Use the nursing process to research a health concern in a specific community. Explain the issue, provide statistical about the health issue, present a possible intervention, evaluate the intervention, and answer questions about the issue. The intervention will be evaluated for effectiveness and usability. Students are expected to collaborate effectively to create the finished product using reliable and up to date resources to create an intervention that is usable in a community setting

Create a group presentation on the assigned topic. May use Microsoft PowerPoint, a skit, video, or other multimedia presentation to cover the required information. Teamwork, creativity, and content will be evaluated. You will have a time limit 40 minutes, including questions. 50 points possible.

Evaluation of the following objectives 1. Demonstrate appropriate communication skills with the patient and other health care professionals 2. Assess the pertinent aspects of the patients condition. 3. Perform clinical skill appropriately.
