Students will infer (using their background knowledge and specific clues from the scene what has taken place in the classroom. This will be assessed through the students ability to use the inferring equation BK+C=I (Background Knowledge + Clues = Inference). Students create two columns in their journal - Clues and Meaning. Simple rubric to grade sequence of events in booklet that includes 5 drawings and a written description of the scene.

Students will demonstrate their knowledge of paragraph organization by writing a 5-paragraph essay utilizing the writing process of planning, organizing, writing, evaluating and revising. *Note: the assigned topic is about a favourite season.
