Speech Final
For your final we will combining what we have learned this semester. Including: How to give a presentation, using notes and manuscripts, working with a group, conflict management, how to be a leader, informing the audience, persuading the audience, managing fears, using props, interpersonal skills, nonverbal communication skills, listening skills. Your group will be "hosting" a fundraiser with the nonprofit organization of your choice.

Technology Leader Research/Presentaiton
Research and develop a 5-7 min. PPt presentation, a 2-3 page research paper, or a poster w/ verbal presentation about a technology leader. Include adequate information and graphics to inform your audience about the subject. Include appropriate templates and design tools, clip art, transitions, pictures, videos, etc. Make sure you consider your timing and include enough research material to meet the assignment criteria. Proper spelling and grammar will be assessed as part of the overall grade.

Technology Leader Research/Presentaiton
Research and develop a 7-minute Power Point presentation or a two to three page research paper about a technology leader. Include adequate information to inform your audience about the subject. If you use Power Point, include appropriate templates and design tools, clip art, transitions, pictures, videos, etc. Make sure you consider your timing and include enough research material to meet the assignment criteria. Proper spelling and grammatics are important and will be assessed as part of the overall grade. Consider and respond to the questions on your handout.

Refer to the topics listed below for the required elements to be included in the PowerPoint presentation. Slide topics: Title slide (occupation, student name, and date) Salary information Educational requirements Entry level positions – opportunities for advancement Nature of work- What do they actually do? Working conditions Occupational outlook Advantages/disadvantages to the career Personal skills and reasons why this career would be a possibility Things which can be done to prepare for this job
