Build your own civilization. Make sure you create all ten of these components that make a civilization: Name, Natural boundaries and territory, Social Structure, map, government and laws, Religion, Language/writing system, Economics, Arts (LIterature, Customs, and traditions), and contributions.

The student will create a timeline showing some of the major events and causes of the Fall of Rome. The timeline must be creative and contain correct dates and events in chronological order. The timeline should be colorful and neat and show the students’ creativity.

Oral Presentation Rubric

Students will work individually to design a museum exhibit from their specific China Dynasty. The student will select an artifact (or artifacts) from their time period to recreate. Additionally, they will research the historical significance of this artifact, and present this information in a well written paragraph to accompany the item. All of this will be presented in class, and then put on display in a "China Dynasty Museum."
