Jazz musician Biography Project

The student is to research, write, and present a biography on their composer. This biography includes information on the person's contributions to music and how they were influenced, and an excerpt of their music.

Rhythm Jam Rubric

Create a small group performance piece in which each member plays their own 4 measure 4 beat rhythm using Bucket Beat Rhythms or creating new rhythms. Group members must use the following instruments for performance: xylophone, 2 bucket drums. The group must choose any other percussion instruments available besides the above instruments to complete the group performance.
