Individually, you will be creating a children's book in Spanish. The story must be related to Sports in some way. You must include AT MINIMUM 20 sentences. If you would like a 100, you must include more than 20 sentences. You must include a cover page with author name, book title, and illustration. If it is evident that you used a dictionary/ translator for more than 5 words, you will not receive over a 60 on this project. Use words you know or that we have gone over in class.

Your sentences describing the clothing will need to include clothing vocabulary and clothing color. You may also incorporate school supply vocabulary if you see fit. Students will create a one-page illustration of their family tree, using pictures of their family and labeling family members as indicated by rubric (family label). Your family tree will include at least 4 family members and one (of course) can be a pet! Also, one picture and description will be of you! You will introduce yourself and describe all the members of your family tree, providing name and age to the class (in Spanish, of course).

Make a menu in Spanish using breakfast, lunch, and dinner foods. Research a recipe from a Spanish Speaking country. Write the ingredients to create a grocery list, find the prices in USD and convert them to the currency of your Spanish Speaking country. Write a few interesting facts about the country and create two recipe cards (English/Spanish) of your traditional dish.

This rubric is designed for a Spanish III oral presentation in which students will be presenting a skit in Spanish. The skit is based off the unit's vocabulary of a visit to the doctor, and the inclusion of both current and previous grammar points covered. Students create a senario with a medial situation that requires a visit to/from the doctor. The Team is responsible for assigning its members to the different characters, developing a dialogue and any props.
