Teams will detect the inconsistencies habitat changes would have on the food web and what changes would need to happen and length of time to get the food chain balanced again. Therefore, the first half of the multimedia presentation will describe the current food web and the second half will discuss the effect of the environmental change on the food web and how to balance the food chain again.

Students must create a drawing of an animal cell that accurately represents the parts that help the cell function. Students will use one full page in their lab notebook to draw and label an animal eukaryote cell. On the next page in their notebook they will write a description of each cell component (organelles) and include one interesting fact (i.e. the symbiosis theory of mitochondria). Students may use colored pencils.

Some of these resources may be biotic and others abiotic, but the resources in any given ecosystem will have an effect on the organisms living there. A.) For an ecosystem of your choice, list two resources (one biotic and one abiotic). B.) Explain why each resource would negatively impact that ecosystem if it were to disappear. Support your answer with cause and effect examples.
