After completing Chapter 21 "Puppetry and Play", the high school students will individually create a puppet and while in a group retell a story through a puppet show.

Advanced Theater Students directed and acted in a collection of One Acts.

Advanced High School Theater Students directed and acted in a collection of One Acts.

After viewing a play, students will give a review on what they liked or did not like.

This rubric will be used by students as a self-evaluation tool. The teacher will also use this rubric to assess student play practice participation and behavior

Using Key Concept questions given out by the teacher, the students must create a film based on thier topic which they will act out the historical outcomes of each assigned event. Each film will be 15 min in length. All assignments will be placed in the rubric and calculated for a for a final exam grade. 33 total points

Students are responsible for creating a silent movie in which they add music to enhance the mood of your scene. Students must start frozen and act without words throughout and end on another frozen image.

Silent Film / Music Video should be approximately 3-5 minutes.

Expectations of audience members during a performance

Students will create a puppet that includes different fasteners as elements of the puppet.

Write a 8-10 minute presentation about a Musical Theatre Play. Include information about social context of the play, influences, the lyricst, the playwright, the actors/ actresses, any revivals, and examples of music from the play being performed today. A performance from the musical must be performed. It can be a song, dance, or an influential part that showcases the spirit of the musical. (Must provide your own music and/or materials)
