Competency Project: Create a "vision board" that represents the dream you have for your life. The vision board will be created using the resources provided by your teacher. This vision board should include all the items detailed by your teacher's instructions. You will present the vision board to the class. Grades will be given according to the attached rubric.

CCSS.MATH.CONTENT.3.OA.D.8 Solve two-step word problems using the four operations. Represent these problems using equations with a letter standing for the unknown quantity. Assess the reasonableness of answers using mental computation and estimation strategies including rounding.

Student created fraction sets using letters in their name. Identified fractions and created questions for the fraction set.

Students will visit assigned centers

Students will solve word problems using math problems and pictures. CCSS.Math.Content.1.OA.A.1 Use addition and subtraction within 20 to solve word problems involving situations of adding to, taking from, putting together, taking apart, and comparing, with unknowns in all positions, e.g., by using objects, drawings, and equations with a symbol for the unknown number to represent the problem.
