Rubric to use to evaluate Reading Response Journals for The Chyrsalids

HSB4U Challenge and Change Students will watch the 1980 Jamie Uys film, The Gods Must Be Crazy and write a review based on anthropological analysis learned in class.

Students were required to select a short story from the 9th grade text and analyze it for the standard features of plot. (Exposition - Rising Action/Conflict - Climax - Falling Action - Resolution/Denouement)

Group is to create a power point slide(s) outlining important points about an assigned Topic. Student must present information & power point presentation to the class. The power point should be friendly to the audience members and allow the presenter an opportunity to present (not just read slides to the audience); student will give appropriate credit to where information was gathered.
