Students will create a poster designed to market a production that was recently viewed. The poster will contain information relevant to advertising the musical. Students will provide a creative and colorful poster designed on poster board (1/2 or full-sized poster board). Do not submit your design on computer paper. The poster should address the following questions: - What theater will it run in? - When? - Who will star? - Who produced? - Who wrote it?

Students created logos and presented to class.

Students use oil pastel techniques to create a silhouette of a banyan tree and color the landscape using warm and cool colors.

Monochromatic painting: using one color (hue) and its tints and shades.

Inspired by Vassiy Kandinsky's "Squares with Concentric Circles" Students choose a simple object to draw and repeat this drawing inside each of the squares. Each square is to have a different color scheme.
