The Health Career Research Project requires a health career to be thoroughly researched based on career interest.

Students will create a Black History Month project to show their understanding about the relevancy and importance of their assigned individual / organization for Black History Month.

Working individually, students will work on a presentation to the class based on the endocrine system, on a specific assigned gland and its function of the body. Each student will prepare a 5-8 minute presentation to the class on their assigned topic. Each presentation shall include multimedia aspect illustrating a particular gland of the endocrine system.

Each student will be assigned a specific culture. The student will research traditional food choices for that culture, create an entree using only foods from that culture. Must use foods from all food groups and daily servings. Must also stay within RDA. Presentations can include art, technology or music. **NOTE: Any student that chooses music for presentation must accompany the song with some type of visual presentation.
