This rubric is primarily a self-evaluation for assessing the comfort level of your existing knowledge and the ability to convey that knowledge to others verbally as well as to apply that knowledge in tasks.

Create and teach a 40 minute dance lesson that includes a warm-up, across the floor, and short combination. Students will create a basic lesson plan using proper dance vocabulary, and NJ FVPA standards.

The Educational Reflection allow students the opportunity to think about their experiences and gather the learning from their experiences. Students explore situations and think about "the learning" that they got from their experiences. Through reflection, students explore problems and solutions encountered during their work, and connect their experiences to their learning goals. Reflections are an important part of the feedback loop between the student and their teacher. Therefore, sharing the learning with the teacher in a timely manner, allows the teacher to offer formative guidance through timely responses to the reflection. This feedback is an important part of student learning.

Assessment of student ability to be able to demonstrate accurately taking a heart rate &respiratory rate & process the data received

Basketball - Students will be assessed on how they Shoot, Pass and perform a Lay-up.

Student will run a short warm-up to the rest of the class.

At the end of the unit, students will show proficient skills in their cardiovascular endurance. Also, being able to demonstrate how to find and calculate their target heart rate.

The teacher will provide students with feedback from using the heart rate monitors during physical activity. Students will analyze the feedback and journal their goals to improve their target heart rate zone.
