Students will be able to: Recognize the basic components used in electronics Identify the names and schematic symbols of electronic components Follow and understand electronic schematic diagrams Describe the basic function of electronic components Construct electronic devices by following schematic diagrams

Students will be able to investigate and illustrate the fact that the flow of electricity requires a closed circuit, identify and classify materials that conduct electricity and materials that do not, analyze circuits and explain how they work.

Create a circuit that works. Draw a diagram to represent the circuit and label your diagram for the design. Present the working circuit in class.
