This rubric shows how classwork/do now/hw assignments will be evaluated.

Any presentation of your project will be graded based upon the following rubric.

Students will know homework expectations which would include completeness, accuracy, requirements, legibility and time management.

Used in the shop or theory to grade how students successfully manage their time while accomplishing a given task.

To be used as a self-assessment tool for student created projects. A point value can be given by the instructor if desired. It may also be used just for student reflection and project improvement.

Create a menu. You must give your restaurant a name and create the menu. The menu should include at least four complete choices for each of the sections of the menu: appetizers, salads, entrees, and desserts. The menu should be visually pleasing with with easily identifiable headings, prices, and pictures.

Student will research various restaurant floor plans for inspiration/ideas (if needed) to start. 1. Develop a design plan based on the following specifications of the project: - Type of Restaurant: Fast Casual American - Budget: $500,000 - Seating area with a maximum capacity of 100 people 2. Develop a mood board which describes the design style, color scheme, furnishings, appliances and furniture 3. Create a potential cost list of each of the items
