Student will draw a macro drawing of a dragon's eye. Geometric and organic shapes drawn lightly will start the drawing. Additional lines and shapes lines must show visual texture and/or pattern of skin and scales. The design utilizes the entire space well. Eye will be outline with blacl marker and colored neatly with colored pencils.

One Point Perspective

Using a digital photo, grid the photo in a 1" grid. Then create an 2" grid on your drawing paper to transfer your drawing to. After transferring your drawing using the grid, use two-three different pencil leads to shade your drawing. You will be graded on measurement, shading and texture techniques(hair quality), craftsmanship, and effort.

Create a 3-D sculpture depicting food. Sculpture based on the ideas of Pop Art. 4 sculptures- cardboard, packaging tape, toilet paper and clay.

Emphasis is defined as an area or object within the artwork that draws attention and becomes a focal point. In this assignment the emphasis will be red.
