The students will work on their own to put together a poster for display. The poster will contain relevant information directly related to the topic selected by the student. The poster should have areas segmented that directly reflect the outline created by the student. The poster will be designed on either poster board (full-sized poster board) or tri fold poster board. The student is required to explain their poster to the class and teacher

Below is a chart that shows you exactly how your class participation grade will be evaluated. All students are expected to participate in class! Students should understand that their participation mark begins at 0 and then is built up through active participation. While this is a self-assessment, I may raise or lower points based upon classroom observation.

Students will reconstruct the processes of mitosis/meiosis. All steps in mitosis/meiosis must be labeled correctly and identifiable. Stop Motion Studio will be used to make a digital stop motion animation (similar to a digital flipbook). Students may choose their own materials for the reconstruction.

Use this rubric to create your lab report. Each section in the checklist will be evaluated to compile an overall 100% classwork/project grade for each lab report. Use this rubric to help you critique your lab report so that you may get the highest score possible.
