The student will create a short video using Stop Motion techniques. Stop motion (also known as stop frame) is an animation technique to make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence. Stop motion animation using plasticine is called clay animation or Claymation.

Research the approved topic. Submit one 4-6 page typed paper, double spaced, 14 point font following MLA guidelines. Include a bibliography citing at least 4 resources used researching the paper. Quotes can not be more than 5 lines. You are encouraged to interject your personal opinion into this paper.

This rubric is used to assess the student's successful production to create their claymation animation.

Rubric for Leroy Digital Photography

Students were assigned a plant that has medicinal benefits. They did research and explained the benefits to the class. Pictures were required for this project.

The students will put together a presentation with visual aids to show during their oral presentation. The presentation will contain information that the students collected regarding a topic. The oral presentation must be aligned with their visual aid.

Create a weather report to be presented in class. You must give the weather forecast of an assigned city. Create a poster board/ power point which demonstrates a 1-day weather forecast. The project must include the location and some information of your assigned city. You may give the weather forecast.

Students will complete 5 labs.
