Rubric for evaluating student research assignment presentations.

Art projects without a specific rubric or other assessment criteria will be evaluated and graded using the following rubric.

Research the approved topic and question. Submit in 12 point font following all formatting guidelines through Purdue Owl. Include a bibliography/Works Cited page citing resources used in your research. Paper will be graded on quality of research to support the topic, effective use of information gained through research, credibility of sources, content, grammar and mechanics, and bibliography.

Students must pick a theme and detail the theme visually using supporting evidence from the text. Students must create a diagram that is neat, organized, and appropriate to convey chosen theme.

Interview an elder to research the American Dream. Ask each question and write a thorough response with specific details so you may learn about their views on the Dream; and may later connect it to your decades research.
