Students are to create a power point presentation outlining important points about the article they were assigned. Students must present information & power point presentation to the class. The power point should demonstrate in-depth knowledge of the topic researched and allow the presenter an opportunity to present (not just read slides to the students); students will give appropriate credit to where information was gathered. Presentations will be 5 minutes long.

Research and write a 10-12 page paper that articulates a realistic and sustainable strategy for a holistic development program for a specific social issue of your choosing agreed upon in class by your professor. It must consider specific city, region, or country based on investigative library research, and best practice of holistic development strategies.

On the date identified in the class schedule, all students must hand in a research paper documented with APA-style citations and references. Your research paper must address a criminal justice related issue of your choice, approved by me in advance (or one of the pre-approved topics). Papers must be typed and a MINIMUM of 1000 words. You will not receive better than a 70% if your paper does not contain at least 1000 words and/or does not include a statement containing your word count.
